As part of our Department’s participation in the Cultural Season events held by the Applied Sciences Research Unit in the Applied Sciences Department at our University, the Head of the Architectural Design Branch of our Department, Dr Ahmed Louay Ahmed, participated in delivering a scientific lecture on “The Thermostone Construction Culture” in which he reviewed the Thermostone building material, the economic and environmental characteristics of Thermostone, Encouraging the use of Thermostone instead of bricks and its relationship to preserving the environment, the differences between the process of making Thermostone and making bricks, and a scientific comparison between building using the two materials.
The lecture was concluded by honouring Dr Ahmed Louay Ahmed with a certificate of thanks and appreciation for his efforts from the Applied Sciences Department
