PhD. Thesis discussion titled “"Digital Exchanges of visualization in Contemporary Architecture"." at the Department of Architecture

The Student (Hossam Jabbar Abbas) at the Department of Architecture has been granted a Ph.D. degree on his thesis titled ““Digital Exchanges of visualization in Contemporary Architecture "  .

The thesis is based on the principle of the adoption of architecture as a comprehensible system. Therefore, the purpose of the thesis is to find a code system for a system based on the relationship between the equations of architecture within secrets that may interest the receiver through the MRD program.

Four models of the conceptual framework for the visualization of architectural output were submitted by introducing the necessary knowledge concerning the theory of communication .Aiming to understand architecture and the reliability structure in adapting architecture in addition to the attractive structure of the acceptability of architecture.

The discussion was attended by most of the master's and doctoral students and researchers in the department .

The Student (Rasha Nuri Abbas)  at the Department of Architecture has been granted M.Sc. degree on her thesis titled “Flexibility in the Design of Operation Room: Local Hospitals- Study Case "

The study focuses on surgical spaces because it represents the core of the building of  hospitals, both "economically" and "technically" in which scientific progress and technological development require space to space to embody innovations in integrated surgical performance aiming at saving humanity.

According  to  the establishment of legislative laws , strict considerations of surgical spaces and permanent change in scientific progress in the field  of surgery,

the concept of flexibility is an essential requirement in the design of contemporary surgical spaces is  the importance of change in order to keep update of that development, which makes the concept of flexibility a "fundamental" requirement in the design of contemporary surgical spaces.

Where the research formulated its research problem as "lack of knowledge” regarding the basic vocabulary and indicators to achieve flexibility in the design system of the pavilion and surgical space designed according to modern international standards, and the  mechanisms  by  applying   those words within the development of local society."

The theoretical framework consisted of four main items: the main indicators in in achieving  the flexibility of the design system of the surgical parlor , the strategies and mechanisms to achieve flexibility in the design system, the objectives of achieving flexibility in the design system and flexible surgical space.

The research aims to define flexible surgical spaces: It is an integrated design system responds to the circumstances of the forces of change depending on the characteristics of its systems .It is  the formative functional system adapted for career change ,within physical structure viable transformation and has the ability of  expansion in addition to the  social and interactive system with unexpected circumstances able to solve the intractable aspects.
