The Department of Architecture hosts the Al-Makassed private School and AL-Khalani Cultural and Social Foundation Featured

The Department of Architecture at the University of Technology hosted a group of students from Al-Makassed Private Secondary School accompanied by Mr. Mustafa Nusair Al-Karmanji, the representative of the secondary school, had visited the University of Technology on Thursday 28/12/2017. This comes within the scientific and educational activities of the Department of Architecture and with the initiative and coordination with Al-Khalani Cultural Social Foundation represented by Mr. Mohammed Al-Issa. 

At the beginning of the visit, accompanied by Assistant lecturer Hussain Ali Al-Kahihi, who is working within the department , students were introduced to the facilities and campus the University of Technology and its scientific sections and a historical profile of the department and branches of studying .

After that, the students headed to the head of the department where they were met by the Head of Department, Dr. Ibrahim Jawad Kazem, the assistants of the department and the rest of the faculty members and students of the department welcome their guests and provide them with guidance and advice to contribute to open the horizons for high school students and to see the scientific atmosphere in the university life Motivates them to make more scientific efforts to succeed at the highest rates. During the visit, students toured lecture halls and listened to lectures that were given by some of the students. Some of the high school students participated in presenting a group of their scientific activities.
