Students of the first stage continue to take online and in person exams in the Department of Architecture, starting from Thursday, March 17, 2022. The students were distributed to the classes and studios as a precaution measure to prevent the Corona virus, according to the decisions of the crisis cell and according to the instructions of the presidency of the university of technology.
The Architectural Design faculty members with stage three students organized a scientific visit to the Hotel Babylon Rotana aiming at promoting the integration of theoretical knowledge with the practical application of the architectural projects.
The Hotel official has organized tours for the students to inspect the intersection set of systems of the Hotel Project as this hotel is the project they will be working on in the second semester of the academic year. These tours included identifying all the hotel service areas that included

Vertical and Horizontal motility System

The Student (Zainab Ismail Abdul-Kadhim) at the Department of Architecture has been granted a doctorate of science degree on her thesis titled (( Digital Morphology In Architecture))
The discussion was held on Thursday, March 9, 2022 at nine A.M, at the postgraduate study hall in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology.
The thesis discussed the concept of digital morphology in terms of studying the structure and shape reflection in the surrounding environment. It is considered one of the concepts associated with algorithmic architecture and barometric architecture.
The thesis focused on the impact of this concept in the analysis and the interpretation of the digital formation of architectural products. Morphological design strategies were extracted.
