Neda Khalil Ibrahim Al-arab is an architect and scholar since 2008 from the University of Technology then in 2014 received her master’s degree in the department of Architecture in university of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. Neda Khalil Ibrahim Al-arab is a faculty member at the Department of Architecture, The University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq, with more than 16 years of academic experience, and now she is a Ph.D. researcher at the same faculty. Neda Khalil Ibrahim Al-arab participated in many national and international conferences (as researcher) such as: - 3 rd International Conference of engineering and sustainable techniques. (ICSET)2020 - 4 th International Conference of engineering and sustainable techniques. (ICSET)2022 -6 th International Conference on Engineering & Advanced Technology (ICEAT) 2023, in Turkey.
- In July 2014, Neda Khalil Ibrahim Al- arab received her Master’s degree of Science in Architecture, Department of Architecture, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, after completing her thesis “The Role Of Landscape Elements In Achieving Aesthetic Response In Streetscape” .
- In June 2008, she obtained her B. Sc. In Architecture from the Department of Architectural engineering, University of Technology , Baghdad, Iraq, after discussion her project “The Redevelopment Of University Campus – University Of Techhnology As A Case Study”.
- Urban Landscape, Urban design, Urban Heritage, Landscape Design, Landscape Ecology, Urbanism, Urban Management, Landscape Management, Sustainable Heritage and heritage conservation techniques.
- The general field of research Urban Design, particularly Urban landscape.
- The focus is on how Landscape effects Urban life and how changing land use effects urban ecology through landscape and urban management.
- In addition, Neda, is also working on her Ph.D. Thesis considering sustaining heritage in city centers and conserving it’s urban landscape through landscape manament.
In 2008 Neda Khalil Ibrahim al-arab began her academic career as a faculty member in the Department of Architecture, University of Technology in Baghdad- Iraq,. She has more than 16 years of academic experience, and has participated in teaching the following subjects:
- Urban Design Studios, especially Fourth stage.
- Landscape design.
- Housing projects studios for Fourth stage.
- Architectural design subject, especially the Second and third stages.
- Architectural presentation material
