The Department of Architecture bestows Master’s of Degree about Livable neighborhoods Study of Pedestrian Friendly Environment Vitality Featured

The Department of Architecture at the University of Technology has been given the Master's of degree for postgraduate a student “  Asmaa Omar Basheer  “  about the thesis entitled  (( Livable neighborhoods Study of Pedestrian Friendly Environment Vitality  which has held at the discussion hall of department .

 

The searcher has been focused of studying the vital and pedestrian friendly environment, but an issue emerged that there is (a gap about vitality of the pedestrian friendly environment in livable neighborhoods). So the thesis focused on pinning the important strategies, treatments and characteristics that included (designing pedestrian walking paths, increasing housing populations, energizing existing neighborhoods, diverse use, increasing housing choices, the sense of neighborhoods, increasing social interactions, increasing the neighborhood quality). And knowing how impactful it is to the livable neighborhood.

Research hypothesis (The pedestrian friendly environment vitality is achieved through a set of strategies, treatments and characteristics) .
