Iraqi Universities Championship Awards for Fast Chess ( male and female students) Of the Academic year 2021-2022
In the presence of the President of the University of Technology , the scientific and administrative assistants, heads of the departments and committee members in addition to the participating delegations. The Iraqi Universities Chess Championship for male and female students has started In the main hall of the University Of Technology theater with an unprecedented participation of 208 students (male and female) players which representing 50 public and private universities and colleges.
The Department of Architecture participants are Qabas Mustafa and Rawan Saadi, the fifth stage students , participated in the university’s team for female students in chess, and the team granted the second rank in the Universities Championship.
Final submission of the second project (student center at the University of Technology) for third stage students
The third stage students completed the final submission of the (Techno Student Center-Book Store project, which is the second project within the requirements of the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year for the architectural design subject, under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Saadoun Al-Maamouri, the third stage supervisor and the professors of the four stage. Where three proposed sites were selected within the University of Technology campus, and this came with the aim of creating a future vision
that represents the university’s need for such a facility that combines the marketing, entertainment and cultural aspects.
The students’ outputs combine the realization of space-time affiliation and their symbolism, as well as the achievement of functional and formal aspects, as well as structural and facilities systems.

Department of Architectural Engineering Fifth council meeting
The Department of Architecture held its fifth session in the academic year 2021/2022
During the meeting, the council members discussed the progress regarding the new branches and other scientific and administrative issues that contribute to the development of the department from various aspects.
Doctorate Thesis Discussion Titled ((Permanence In Architecture)
The Student (((Haider Adnan Nassif Al-Khafaji))) at the Department of Architecture has been granted doctorate of science degree on his thesis titled (permanence in architecture)The discussion was held on Thursday 23rd of December 2021at nine A.M, at the postgraduate study hall in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Hamza and included each of. Prof. Dr. Shaima Hamid Hussein, Assistant Prof. Dr.Younis Mahmoud Mohamed ,Assistant Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Al-Ekry, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein Raouf.
The thesis is supervised by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saadoun Al-Mamouri
