Master Thesis Discussion Titled ((Tourism Investment Management In Activating The Historical Areas In Iraq / Ur City, A Case Study)

The Student ( Shuala Raad Naim) at the Department of Architecture has been granted master of science degree on her thesis titled ((((Tourism investment management in activating the historical areas in Iraq / Ur city, a case study)

  The discussion was held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. At nine A.M, at the postgraduate study hall in the Department of Architectural  Engineering at the University of Technology.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Prof.Dr. Mufeed Ihsan Shook  and Assistant Prof. Dr Rana Mazin Mahdi, Dr. Vinus Sulaiman Akif   as members .

 The thesis is supervised by. Assistant Prof. Dr. Safaa Al Din Husein ,

The Student    Gada Galib Abdul Wahab at the Department of Architecture has been granted a doctorate degree on her  thesis titled (Rules Of The Environment Functionalization In The   Contemporary Architectural Form).

The discussion was held on Tuesday March 14th 2023 at nine A.M, at the postgraduate study hall in the Department of Architectural  Engineering at the University of Technology. 

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Jawad Kadhim  and included each of:-

Assistant prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Hamza , Assistant prof. Dr. Wahda Shukur Alhankawi , Assistant prof. Dr. Abdullah Sadon salman , Assistant prof. Dr Dargham Muzhir Kareem (University of Baghdad -Collage of Engineering ) as members .

 The thesis is supervised by  Assistant Prof. Dr. Younis Mahmood Salim .

In the presence of the Administrative Assistant of the President of the University, the University of Technology Volleyball Championship was tormented  on  Tuesday March 14th 2023. The team of the Architectural Engineering Department, under the supervision and training of (Dr. Huda Muhammad Suleiman), was granted the winning cup, in addition to the medals as an encouragement gesture for their worthy success . 

Under the auspices of the Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Jawad Al-Youssif, with  the supervision of the of architectural design teaching staff for the third stage, aiming at  encouraging the students and enhancing the spirit of competition among them, the Department of Architecture held a student activity represented by an exhibition of distinguished student projects for the first semester, which included architectural design for two projects :

- The first project / a sustainable development center in different residential sectors in Baghdad

The second project: a five-star hotel in Al-Rasheed Camp.
