Representatives of the Department of Architecture participated in the GLP session which was held at the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Technology and the most important topic in the course. The university aims to obtain accreditation globally in all the university facilities from laboratories and departments where it Accreditation is an official recognition granted by an authorized official body, whether national, regional or international, as the institution is qualified or able to perform certain tasks.
There are two major organizations in the world to grant accreditation:
- ILAK International Laboratory Accreditation Organization .
- The International Accreditation Forum (LAF)
As the accreditation is granted to the standard that has been applied in that institution. the most important specifications and criteria for accreditation:
- ISO 9000 Quality Assurance System
- ISO 9001 Management Specification
- 17025 ISO Technical Specification (Laboratory Reliability System) includes all general requirements for Laboratory Desalination
- (OHSA) ISO 18001 safety specification .
-ISO 14001 Environmental Specification .
- ISO 27001 Security Specification .
