On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Alumni Follow-up, Training, and Employment Unit of the department organized a workshop titled "Concept Presentation Skills in Residential Project Marketing." The workshop was designed for fourth-year students to enhance their ability to present ideas clearly and confidently, as part of the Professional Development Program at the University of Technology.
The workshop included a theoretical session presented by Lecturer Najah Anwar, covering:
- Architectural tools for presenting design concepts
- Fundamentals of visual and verbal communication
- Body language techniques when engaging with clients
- Strategies to improve concept presentation skills for housing projects, ensuring that clients understand the project’s potential and are encouraged to invest in residential units
The practical session allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge by presenting their design concepts for the Young Entrepreneurs’ Housing Project in Baghdad. Several faculty administrators participated as prospective clients and evaluators, assessing the students’ presentation skills. The session was supervised by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilal Samir Ali.
