Dr. Safaa Aldeen Hussein Al Samarraiee is a faculty member at the University of Technology, Department of Architectural Engineering, for more than 18 years, he became an assistant professor at 2014. He received his master's degree in 1989, the Ph.D. is in Professional Architectural Practice, at 2004, since then he is interested in studying and teaching architectural design, the construction management Dr. Safaa Aldeen became Dean Deputy of the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology from 2008 - 2011 and the Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology from Nov 2019 -Mar 2020, during that time he was a member of the University Board, editor in chief for the Iraqi journal for architectural engineering, a member of the Editorial Board of the Iraqi Journal of Architecture /2020 During his academic years Dr. Safaa became a member of many scientific committees, and the postgraduate committee, participate in many conferences in Iraq and many Arabic and European countries. Dr. Safaa supervised many M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis, published more than 20 papers in local and international journals and conferences For the Professional Experience Dr. Safaa participate in the following: - The Iraqi Planning law, For the Ministry of Planning 2013, a member of committee / Iraqi Planning law 2014. - The Iraqi Building Code, "The Requirement of Spaces (201)", member Staff. Ministry of Housing, 2013 - The Design of the master plan for the new city in Al Rasheed Camp, The Iraqi Investment committee, 2012, - The development of the Land Use for the Bismaya City, Consultant for the Ministry of Housing 2014-2016 - Head of the architectural team of the Scientific and Engineering Consulting Office at the University of Technology to audit and supervise the rehabilitation of Al Sywera Air Base ,2016. - Chairman of the team of the Office of Scientific and Engineering Consulting at the University of Technology Design Samarra Museum in the city of Salah al-Din ,2014. - Member of the technical advisory team for the project of housing 1 million housing units / National Investment Commission / 2012 - Chairman of the team of the Office of Scientific and Engineering Consultations at the University of Technology \ Design Complex of the National Investment Authority. 2011 - Chairman of the team of the Office of Scientific and Engineering Consultations at the University of Technology \ Design buildings education Wasit 2016 - Chairman of the architect’s team at the Office of Scientific and Engineering Consultations at the University of Technology / Audit plans for the design of Al Sywara Air Base / 2017 - Member of the technical advisory team supervising the project of the implementation of Al Sywara air base / 2017-2021"
